This position is for Parker Hannifin's Composite Sealing Systems Division, located in San Diego (Otay Mesa), California. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Machining Associate I operates CNC machines to manufacture metal parts while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role involves learning to perform machining tasks such as drilling, milling, and understanding specifications by reading blueprints and mechanical drawings. The Machining Associate I loads raw materials onto CNC machines, sets them for efficient production cycles, and supervises machine operations. The Machining Associate I inspects and measures finished products against specifications, performs deburring as needed, and conducts daily maintenance to ensure machinery functionality. Collecting production data for reporting purposes is also essential. Attention to detail is crucial, along with the ability to escalate issues to site leadership when necessary. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $20.75 - $31.50 per hour.
