Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager - Operations will provide project management support for strategic Engineering projects. Position will track day to day progress of strategic projects, develop detailed project schedules, cost tracking, project action item tracking, and will co-ordinate with site resources in the execution of strategic projects. Additionally, the position will generate and track project performance metrics and develop board level presentations for project review and proposal.

This position will provide project management expertise to multiple strategic capital projects and business initiatives. The priorities for this position include chartering new projects, scope definition and tracking, project meetings with action tracking/meeting minutes, timeline development and tracking, budget tracking, vendor management, and executive level presentation development. The Project Manager must become familiarized with technologies and operations across the Jubilant Pharma network with the goal of executing all assigned projects on time and within budget. Projects shall be executed under Jubilant Pharma project standards, complying with the Delegation of Authority (DOA), and adherence to company financial rules.

Essential Functions

  1. Provides project management expertise utilizing PMI best practices for strategic corporate projects.
  2. Leads project teams; direct and indirect reporting
  3. Ensures assigned projects are executed within timeline and budget.
  4. Generates project review presentations for executive level personnel and routinely updates project performance metrics.
  5. Routinely updates and tracks capital spend charts for critical projects.
  6. Leads and/or attends site project team meetings as assigned, with documented action item tracking.
  7. Develop project charter, scope document, and scope change control process.
  8. Develops human resource plan for strategic project execution.
  9. Generate, update, and track detailed project Gantt charts.
  10. Develop stage gates for each project and conduct stage gate review meetings.
  11. Lead project risk assessments sessions.
  12. Collaborates with equipment and services vendors for detailed project execution scheduling and resource planning.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters of Science in Engineering or other related sciences
  • PMP Certification Required
  • 7 to 10 years in project management required
  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturing experience desired
  • Project Management - best practices per PMI, PMBOK
  • Proficient with MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point & Visio
  • Understand of cGMPs

Shift: Week days

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

  • Hiring Wage: $101,500 - $163,900 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. See full list of benefits below for our complete compensation package.
