Full-time, 40 Hours/week Monday - Friday, 8a.m. to 4:30p.m. Hybrid (Onsite 2-3 days/week) Summary: The Revenue Program Manager in partnership with the Vice President Finance and Revenue Cycle assumes responsibility for coordination of key Revenue Cycle programs and initiatives. The Revenue Cycle Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of Revenue Cycle programs and initiatives to ensure financial stability, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency for Akron Children's Hospital. Responsibilities: 1. Manages multiple program objectives and activities in support of implementing national Revenue Cycle Best Practices. 2. Assists where program management resources are needed to support Revenue Cycle compliance or regulatory requirements. 3. Collaborates with IT to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies and system enhancements. 4. Collaborates with Vice President on budget and work effort to ensure targets met. 5. Identifies resource requirements (including staffing, software, hardware, and facilities) of key programs/initiatives, based on program specifications. 6. Plans and scopes program phases and components ensuring programs/initiatives are on schedule and within scope. 7. Works with teams to define testing plans and to help organize testing phases and cycles. 8. Creates contingency plans with appropriate input from key team members and sponsors and implements a revised program schedule, scope, or budget in a timely manner. 9. Monitors key programs/initiatives and provides summary status reports to Revenue Cycle leadership. 10. Collaborates with stakeholders to understand organizational needs and incorporate them into development 11. Develops tools to monitor and report performance trends and risks in key programs/initiatives. 12. Engages clinical and operational leadership to promote effective communication, collaboration, and teamwork to effectively coordinate programs and achieve the strategic goals and initiatives of the organization. 13. Other duties as required. Other information: Technical Expertise: 1. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 2. Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 3. Experience working with many levels within an organization. 4. Proficiency in MS Office is required, advanced experience in Excel. 5. Epic Systems experience a plus 6. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies
Education and Experience: 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field is preferred.
3. Experience managing programs/initiatives in a large organization or business unit is required.
