The Work Control team at the D4 End States in Hanford's 200 East Area is seeking a dynamic professional who is a self-starter willing to support the team and take an active part in making them successful.
The Work Control Planner, under minimal supervision and/or direction of organizational leadership, responsibilities typically include, but are not limited to: * Conducting walk-downs with bargaining unit employees, subject matter experts and field work supervisors to develop and plan work instructions for high hazard nuclear facilities, D&D, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, construction or surveillance activities. * Developing safe and compliant work instructions and assemble work packages for field work. * Facilitate Hazard analysis and planning meeting. * Assisting in design change packages and troubleshooting as appropriate. * Providing information to others in order to procure needed material, track, and control work packages. * Coordinating input from craft and SMEs from multiple organizations involved with planning and completing field work and resolve work planning issues. * Providing technical direction to a group of individuals.
Basic Qualifications
* Senior Level Grade 18: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 8 or more years of relevant experience. * Senior Level Grade 19: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 9 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has a greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience as a Craftsman and/or Field Work Supervisor along with Decommissioning, Deactivation, Decontamination, Demolition (D4) planning experience. * Experience performing Decommissioning, Deactivation, Decontamination, Demolition (D4) planning activities at a Nuclear Facility. * Experience with the Job Control System (JCS), Integrated Work Control Program (IWCP) and the Job Hazards Analysis process.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
* Senior Level Grade 18: $106,663 - $134,588. * Senior Level Grade 19: $117,225 - $147,775.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
