We are looking for energetic, positive individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for helping students succeed to work as Educational Clinicians / Tutors in a Lindamood- Bell Learning Center on Campus-where we provide small-group instruction at local area schools. Educational Clinician / Tutor Position Details:

• Prior teaching experience is not required.
• These positions are part-time, beginning May 19th, with a typical schedule of Monday - Thursday, 8 AM - 1 PM.
• Instruction is performed at local area school campuses including but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • La Habra High School in La Habra, CA
  • Buena Park High School in Buena Park, CA
  • Fullerton Union High School in Fullerton, CA
  
  
  
  
• This is not a remote position; educational clinicians are responsible for getting to and from the school campus daily
• We provide paid training in the programs used by Lindamood-Bell.
• Required hours during the paid training are generally 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks. Following the training, as a part-time employee, you will generally be scheduled less than 30 hours per week according to the scheduling needs of the Learning Center on Campus.
• This position requires Monday-Thursday availability
• All necessary technical equipment and program materials will be provided.
• The opportunity to travel may be available.
• Internship credits may be available.

Educational Clinician / Tutor Expectations:

• Have a passion for helping others reach their potential.
• Implement positive-reinforcement strategies that maximize learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner.
• Possess excellent reading, spelling, and comprehension skills.
• Possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about student performance while leading engaging sessions.
• Associate's degree, Early Childhood Education certificate, Bachelor's degree, or actively pursuing a degree is required.

Educational Clinician / Tutor Responsibilities:

• Provide small group instruction, in-person and/or online, implementing specific lesson plans under the direction of the Lindamood-Bell for Schools leadership team.
• Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.
• Comply with Lindamood-Bell's and hosting school's policies and requirements for ensuring student safety.
• Manage client records electronically using a computer.

Educational Clinician / Tutor Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is $22 per hour.
