GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision, receives payments from patients and visitors for use of hospital parking facilities and records amount received. Operates counting mechanism to determine frequency of lot usage. Practices positive customer relations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with courses in mathematics is required to determine correct fee and change. Previous cashier experience is preferred. Requires the ability to add, subtract, and multiple numbers. Handles and fingers money, tickets and cash register. Must read tickets, count money and fill out shift reports. Daily contact with patients and visitors to collect parking fees.
