Salem Health, Hospitals and Clinics is excited to announce that we are looking for our next Speech language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our Inpatient Rehab Team. The Clinical Fellow will commit to a one (1) hear fellowship position (mid-July 2025- end of July 2026) in which you will gain exceptional experience that will help you further your career and obtain your certification of clinical competence. Your Role and Team: Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Join our collaborative team in the inpatient rehab unit at Salem Health. Inpatient Rehab provides an intensive therapy program in which patients receive at least three hours of therapy/day across all disciplines including PT< OT and speech. Length of stay is between 1-3 weeks and most patients discharge home or to a community setting. In your clinical fellowship year, you will apply the principles of professional practice to speech language pathology in evaluating and treating communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders to restore, reinforce and /or enhance a person's ability to function as independently as possible. You will also develop home programs and provide caregiver/family training to enhance ongoing interventions. You will consult with physicians and other members of the rehabilitation team to deliver a coordinated therapy program that meets the holistic needs of the patient. What you will need:
