In the role of Senior Technical Specialist, we'll count on you to:
- Engage in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews; includes championing and leading pursuits as well as developing submittals
- Be directly involved with private and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues
- See that all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated through proactive project management system
- Implement, monitor, and support company policy
- Work cooperatively with National Directors and marketing staff in local and national marketing and production efforts
- Travel to client meetings, NTX Area offices, and attending conferences is expected
- Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer
- Design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques and procedures
- Production of design drawings and construction documents through the use of computer aided design and other design software
- Preparation of design and quantity calculations
- Preparation of specifications and contract documents
- Coordination with other disciplines as necessary
- Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in engineering or related field of study or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of 15 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
- Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline to be supported
- Extensive knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
- Proven ability to work in multi-disciplinary environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
