Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Project Manager. This role is with an insurance company 100% remote from home. The contract duration is 3+ months. Compensation: Up to $57.00 per hour, W2 Responsibilities: Accountable for project management of a medium-sized project with high complexity Manage scope, schedule, and quality, including monitor day-to-day progress, execution, management and closure within the approved scope Measure and report on project performance using appropriate tools and techniques that are compliant with company approved methodologies and tools Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of project management experience in technology, product, and software development and/or business functions. Experience with project management methodologies and tools Understand how software is developed, tested, and implemented Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and business leaders Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Gantt Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions Ability to lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risks, and or complexity on occasion Ability to positively impact the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects or services Work with general department policies and industry guidelines Ability to explain difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus Preferred Experience: PMP certification Knowledge of Jira and Jira Align Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
