Job Description: The position has responsibilities driving multiple technology projects within Ryan's Infrastructure, Network, and Engineering team. The role is responsible for effectively managing technology projects, driving projects to completion, communications with peers and leadership, raising awareness and concerns and escalating as appropriate. Some things you can expect to do:
Manages assigned technology projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project. Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing. Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, realigns schedules and expectations as needed. Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to project team and stakeholders. Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports. Challenge project team with technology solutions; cost, timing, efficiency, etc., to ensure the outcome supports the business requirements. Developing and publishing weekly project scorecards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Close collaboration and alignment with other technology teams.
To be successful in this role you must have:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience.) PMP Certification a plus. Familiarity with Agile methodology. Knowledge of relevant infrastructure, cloud, and network environment, such as cloud computing, data center architecture, network architecture, etc. Experience in building DR/IR/BCP programs and executing testing, training, and tabletop exercises. Experience working with vendors in negotiating and conducting contract creation and renewals. Organized with attention to detail. Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning. Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices. Proficient with, or able to quickly become proficient with, a range of general and specialized applications, software, and hardware used in the organization and the industry. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner. Eligibility:
Compensation: The base salary range is $111,500-$167,300 annually. The salary base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program. Benefits
