THE JOB: Join the excitement at Luxor as a Ticket Office Representative, where you'll be at the heart of the entertainment experience! In this dynamic role, you'll assist guests with ticket sales for world-class shows, thrilling events, captivating exhibits, and top attractions across all MGM properties. As the face of our ticketing operations, you'll provide exceptional guest service, go above and beyond to exceed expectations, and create unforgettable moments. From seamless transactions and expert recommendations to efficient problem-solving and service recovery, you'll ensure every guest enjoys a smooth and hassle-free experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and love being part of the action, this is the role for you! THE STARTING RATE: $16 an hour THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Ticket Sales & Guest Service: Assist guests with ticket purchases, including upselling and cross-selling for shows, events, exhibits, and attractions across all MGM properties while providing prompt, courteous service. Order Processing & Entry Verification: Process ticket orders, including will call, and verify tickets for entry to ensure a seamless guest experience. Guest Assistance & Property Knowledge: Provide detailed information about property facilities, services, and events while addressing guest inquiries with professionalism. Issue Resolution: Handle and resolve guest concerns within the scope of authority to maintain high service standards and satisfaction. Cash Handling & Transactions: Manage and balance cash drawers, process transactions using various payment methods, and ensure accuracy in all sales. Systems & Communication: Operate multiple computer and ticketing systems with precision and professionalism and answer multi-line phone calls using proper etiquette.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Age: Must be at least 18 years old. Availability: Must be available for varied shifts based on box office hours 10am-11pm including weekends and holidays. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or ticketing is highly desirable.
