We are currently seeking a Java Developer - San Leandro, Calif. to join our team in San Leandro, California (US-CA), United States (US).

This is a permanent, fulltime, salaried position with benefits. Not open to C2C or C2H.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements
• Develop, test and deploy APIs
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Java Code
• Cooperate with the front-end developer in the process of integrating the RESTful API
• Communicate with external web services
• Produce, maintain, and modify REST APIs
• Ensure APIS are developed using industry standard best practices
• Fix any issues or bugs that arise

Basic, Required Qualifications:

• Minimum eight years of hands-on experience in development of RESTful APIs and Microservices using technology stack: Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Spring Batch, Kubernetes Services, Oracle DB, Apigee/API Gateway
• Minimum two years of cloud experience (Google/Azure/AWS)

Other Desired Qualifications:

• Multithreading
• Design patterns
• Building Microservices/API from a Monolith application
• Handling Web application vulnerabilities
• BDD and TDD; experience with test-driven design & development, unit and integration testing, CI/CD
• Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, DevOps, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Fortify, Sonar, Blackduck etc.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $101,850 - $152,776.Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
