Position Summary Responsible for cage sanitation, physical plant maintenance, safe operation of sanitation equipment, observation and reporting of abnormal conditions in cage-wash facility, and supervised assistance in animal husbandry procedures. This position is considered an essential service requiring weekend and holiday work hours, and involves daily exposure to laboratory animals and their waste products. Essential service staff are required to maintain basic university operations during scheduled and unscheduled work closures due to emergencies, events or other situations (including inclement weather, natural or man-made disasters, pandemics, etc.). Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $32.972. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
