Join our team at Terex/Genie and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated Supply Chain Analyst to contribute to the Marco Team.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze supply chain data, including inventory levels, procurement costs, lead times, and supplier performance, to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key supply chain metrics such as inventory turnover, demand forecasting accuracy, and order fulfillment rates.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to recommend process improvements and cost-saving strategies.

Inventory & Procurement Optimization

  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and reducing excess inventory.
  • Support procurement strategies by analyzing supplier performance, negotiating terms, and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Assist in demand planning and forecasting by analyzing historical trends and market data.

Logistics & Distribution Support

  • Evaluate transportation and distribution networks to improve delivery timelines and reduce logistics costs.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams and third-party providers to optimize shipping routes, warehouse operations, and supply chain flow.
  • Monitor supplier and carrier performance to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level expectations.

Process Improvement & Strategic Planning

  • Identify supply chain bottlenecks and inefficiencies, proposing innovative solutions for process optimization.
  • Assist in the development of supply chain strategies that align with business goals, customer demand, and market conditions.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to align supply chain initiatives with company objectives.

Job Requirements:

A.Education & Training
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Supply Chain and Shipping/Receiving experience is preferred
  • Forklift experience is required
  • Basic computer skills, including knowledge of Excel is preferred

Technical Requirements

  • Strong focus on safety and quality
  • Ability to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers
  • Must be capable of estimating weight, and use that information to calculate the cost of shipping
  • Detailed and process oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow up skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks of varying importance and complexity
  • Ability to operate a forklift
