Purpose

The Senior Program Coordinator for Research is crucial in CII's research program. Interfaces with academics and industry volunteers to coordinate events, meetings and activities essential for identifying research topics, forming research teams, managing project progress, and delivering research outcomes. Works closely with the Director for Research and Operations, the Project Manager for Research, and other CII areas to ensure the success and impact of CII research in the real world.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates all activities including meetings, events, and workshops associated with the institute's research program. These include online and hybrid meetings involving CII staff, industry members, and academics. Coordination includes, but is not limited to, meeting invitations, agenda coordination, and travel arrangements

  • Coordinates the review process leading to the publication of high-quality research deliverables, including final reports, presentations, videos, and implementation tools

  • Organizes and maintains communication resources related to the research program, including templates, communication plans, and tracking tools. Supports the maintenance of documentation, including business processes, research protocols, progress reports, and project deliverables. Maintains accurate and up-to-date records

  • Coordinates the capture and management of data related to the research program, including entry and management of data in our CRM system

  • Processes travel authorizations and vouchers to support committees and teams

  • Provides backup support for the coordination of meetings and events in other CII areas as needed

  • Perform other related functions and travel as required

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Construction Management)

  • Five (5) years of experience in project coordination or research administration

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

  • A passionate advocate for the value of effective applied research

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a research environment or academic institution

  • Familiarity with UT's Define system, Trello, Salesforce, and PowerBI

Salary Range

$ 60,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
