The Knolls Facilities Maintenance Engineering unit is looking for an experienced Technologist to join the team! This position involves work package preparation and procedure development for non-nuclear facilities and equipment. This role applies detailed knowledge of a specific technology or science gained through education or experience to write work packages and provide directions for complex work evolutions. Collaborates with subject matter experts to convey technical direction and explanation of technology in a manner which permits independent operation and maintenance. Exercises judgment and discretion in ensuring proper environmental, safety and health requirements are met. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 14 years of relevant experience; or
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a technical, engineering or science related field and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience. Pay Range
$83,600.00 - $130,700.00 annually

Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is a national asset solely dedicated to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
