Job Description Naval Nuclear Laboratory's (NNL) Reactor Technology (RT) team is seeking an entry-level Software Engineer with a passion for helping other developers accomplish their work. All work efforts include a focus on establishing and developing a DevSecOps culture. New team members will be joining a passionate, forward-looking team with opportunities to help define and implement the future of high velocity, high quality, secured software life cycles for technologies critical to delivering capabilities to the US NAVY. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Develop secure software development pipeline patterns * Work with customers to understand their requirements and integrate with existing and new software * Automation of business and software processes * Work independently or with interdisciplinary teams with minimal supervision Finally, you can expect opportunities to be a contributing member on one or more ancillary teams focused on continuous improvement and/or cross organizational initiatives. This role can be successfully conducted via a blend of working from home and onsite at an NNL location. The amount of time spent at each will vary depending on the work being executed. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
