Salary range $110,000 to $130,000 depending on experience and certifications.

Job Summary

The Information Assurance Analyst will be responsible for providing cybersecurity support by leveraging expert knowledge to assist in securing, monitoring, and documenting corporate computing environments. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience and be proficient in utilizing various network monitoring programs. Additionally, they will be involved in implementing and maintaining cyber applications and systems, while adhering to structured system development lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities



  • Provide cybersecurity solutions that align with corporate/government missions and comply with technical directives and standards.
  • Support the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) process to ensure successful Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) of IT systems.
  • Utilize industry best practices to deploy and maintain high-quality IT systems that meet business, cybersecurity, and IT objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain computing environments in compliance with relevant requirements, including government Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs).
  • Generate, document, and address deviations through the risk resolution process, including familiarity with the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) framework.
  • Provide support for development, maintenance, integration, configuration management, and documentation of corporate information systems, databases, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) systems, and client/server technologies for all in-service command applications. Be able to maintain web applications, support web-based collaborative environments, maintain client facing services, and all helpdesk applications.
  • Employee shall author, maintain, and provide updates to system documentation, quality assurance plans, and configuration management data to support EXWC IT systems. Be ablet to ensure that the compliant documentation is produced to support command operations. Should have the ability to provide Microsoft Power Platform application development, maintenance and support for EXWC applications developed in the Navy Flank Speed Microsoft365 tenant. All application modification work shall be documented via customer change management processes. Application development work shall include documentation of Requirements, Use Cases (Narratives and Diagrams), Data Architecture Diagrams, and Activity/Sequence Diagrams. Contractor will utilize Microsoft365 Power Platform expertise in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams to deliver solutions requested by government customers upon approval of CIO/CIO1 Management for effort commitment.
  • The employee shall provide continuous support for the Command's cloud computing environment that supports the EXWC Command Corporate/RDT&E infrastructure. Be able to support cloud-based server, platform and database infrastructure required to maintain operational availability and full compliance with Navy cybersecurity requirements. The employee shall ensure that the EXWC cloud computing environment is deployed and maintained in compliance with technical directives and standards identified in awarded task orders.
  • The employee shall provide technical configuration, testing and troubleshooting of complex Microsoft Azure Cloud Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) information systems deployments. Tasks include working closely with Government Cloud Broker and Microsoft contacts to identify and implement technical Cloud network configurations that meet NIST and DISA Cloud Security guidelines and policies. Be able to utilize advanced cloud network technical expertise to advise government customer on recommended configuration processes.
  • Have the ability to document configuration settings and leverage AI/ML workspace provisioning automation wherever possible to maximize consistency and repeatability.


Qualifications



  • Prior experience in cyber security consulting, systems hardening, testing, and certification services.
  • Proficiency in documenting system A&A, quality assurance plans, configuration management data, and security certification requirements.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and DISA Standard Implementation Guides.
  • Ability to ensure all IT system documentation is current, compliant, and supports continuous monitoring requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to report updates on system documentation and security certification requirements to senior management.
  • Understanding of DoD Cybersecurity RMF Assessment and Authorization Processes.
  • Must have a Secret Security clearance


Certification Requirements

All applicants must possess the necessary certifications related to the type of work performed. The certifications will be reviewed and verified by the Cyberspace Workforce Program Manager prior to starting work on the contract.



  • Technical Support Specialist, CWF 411 - Intermediate - Training Required (Certified Network Defender Or GIAC Global Industry Cyber Security Professional training or equivalent: or an approved Bachelor's degree per the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework)
  • Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist, CWF 521 - Intermediate - Training required (Certified Ethical Hacker, ComptTIA Cybersecurity Analyst, Systems Security Certified Practitioner or equivalent: or an approved Bachelor's degree per the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework)
