Overview

DISCLAIMER: This role is with K-CORP, a joint venture with M.C. Dean. We will conduct interviews to identify qualified candidates. Offers of employment for this position will be extended to candidates to join as K-CORP employees.

Responsibilities

The Program Support Specialist supports the Chief Engineer and upper management in managing various project-related tasks. This role focuses on critical environments, such as high-uptime industries and fast-paced settings like hospitals. Responsibilities include project planning, coordination, tracking, and reporting to ensure smooth operations and the timely completion of deliverables.

  • Collaborate with upper management and the Chief Engineer on business and contractual matters, including proposal preparation, project deliverables, reporting, and addressing performance or funding concerns.
  • Assist the Chief Engineer in scheduling and planning maintenance, repairs, and projects.
  • Develop and maintain tracking lists for proposals, deliverables, projects, and contracts to ensure team reviews and compliance.
  • Support the preparation of monthly and financial reports in collaboration with the Chief Engineer.
  • Managing all vendor service agreements to include negotiating proposals/ contracts with third-party companies
  • Oversee the Production Control Manager (maintenance coordinator), serving as the primary contact for vendor leadership, contractor management, PM scheduling, and corrective work task coordination.
  • Supervise and maintain the accuracy and completeness of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Train site resources on CMMS usage, provide support (including issue escalation), audit ticket performance, generate CMMS reports supporting KPIs, and analyze workflows for continuous process improvement.
  • Administer of payroll, AP transmittal and proper coding of company purchases
  • Track materials, purchase orders (POs), and invoicing to ensure proper management and compliance.
  • Assist with government badging requests and manage related administrative tasks.
  • Interpret contract requirements and create Statements of Work (SOW) for subcontracting.
  • Interpret the 52-week schedule and job plans to order materials.
  • Organize project, proposal, and contract meetings, and assist in preparing briefs, plans, spreadsheets, and other materials.
  • Coordinate the production, packing, and delivery of contract and proposal deliverables in accordance with RFP requirements (both hard and soft copies).
  • Utilize advanced MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and interact with customer portals.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of individuals, in person, by phone, and in writing.
  • Independently solve practical problems and propose relevant solutions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience

  • Associate's Degree with 8+ years of experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience

  • Strong understanding of critical environments, such as high-uptime industries or fast-paced settings like hospitals.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to changing needs.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with computer screens for extended periods.

  • Capacity to sit for extended periods.

  • Ability to reach and extend hands or arms in various directions.

  • Finger dexterity for tasks such as typing or manipulating small objects.

  • Ability to listen, understand, and interpret information presented verbally.

  • Strong verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively.

Pay Range

USD $90,800.00 - USD $136,200.00 /Yr.
