As a part of a diverse community of faculty and staff who represent many faith systems and worldviews, the Marian University Center for Vibrant Schools is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator to promote our Catholic Franciscan mission and identity by coordinating business operations for all Center for Vibrant Schools activities, supporting programmatic initiatives, and assisting with administrative duties as assigned. This is a full-time position. The Coordinator of Business Operations will report to the Executive Director of Marketing and Operations to ensure that grant management and administrative processes and procedures are executed professionally, efficiently, and on schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Actively engage the Catholic Franciscan mission and identity of Marian University by modeling the Franciscan Sponsorship Values and honoring the legacy of the founding congregation through transformative education, unity in diversity, leadership through service, integrating faith and life, and institutional policies.
- Support the Executive Director of Marketing and Operations to ensure all business operations are carried out in a professional and efficient manner.
- Assist with gathering appropriate documentation needed for grant reporting and compliance.
- Prepare and complete grant-related expense reports, check requests, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Work collaboratively with all Center for Vibrant Schools staff, especially program leaders for literacy initiatives, City Connects, and the Indy STEM Alliance.
- Monitor, track, and analyze data submissions.
- Assist with Center administrative duties, including correspondence via phone and email, client and partner outreach, supply ordering, calendar and event scheduling, and maintaining necessary records.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications: To be qualified for this position the candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in education, administration, business, or a related field. Additionally, candidates should have a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following qualifications:
- Experience in K-12 schools, foundations, philanthropy, government, and nonprofits.
- Experience with grant writing, management, oversight, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to proficiently complete data entry and use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to swiftly respond to multiple demanding situations and complete tasks thoroughly and on time; and
- Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail.
