Overview

Support Air National Guard (ANG) Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Test Center (AATC) to conduct research, test, and assess aging weapon systems and equipment to improve the combat capabilities through Reliability, Maintainability, Quality, Supportability, and Interoperability (RMQSI) engineering and analysis of modernized and advanced ANG, AFRC, and United States Air Force (USAF) aerospace weapons systems. The Primary technical areas of analysis shall include operational suitability Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E); OT&E project management (maintenance equipment); systems engineering for Air Reserve Component (ARC) modernization and sustainment; munitions maintenance, logistics, and security analysis; and systems interoperability assessments.



Responsibilities

    Experience in inspecting, analyzing, and performing operational suitability testing on ARC weapons systems, to include: A-10C; F-16C+/CM (Block 30/32/40/42/50/52); F-15 C/D/EX; F-22; F-35A; HH-60G/W; C-130H/J; HC-130J; LC-130H; KC-135; KC-46; MQ-9; DCGS, C2; special warfare; electronic combat sensors and pods; navigation and targeting pods, unmanned aerial systems; and ground vehicles associated with ARC missions.
  • Perform research, data analysis, programmatic studies and analysis, and execute full OT&E actions, such as operational effectiveness and suitability testing, in support of AATC assigned programs, to include: Military Utility Assessments (MUAs), Capabilities and Limitations (C&L) reports, Operational Assessments (OAs), Tactics Development and Evaluations (TD&Es), Force Development Evaluations (FDEs), and Operational Utility Evaluations (OUEs).
  • Perform Business Case Analyses (BCAs) related to RMQSI issues to identify potential cost, time, availability, or other benefits to the Government, i.e. condition-based maintenance. Perform analyses to identify the best value course of action for modernization and sustainment programs of legacy systems and support equipment for ANG and AFRC weapon systems.
  • Experience in performing maintenance analysis for ANG, AFRC, and Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) support equipment using the Air Force (AF) sustainment strategy tenants as guidance to meet operational readiness objectives based on enhanced mission generation, improved enterprise material support, expanded enterprise repair networks, and capitalization of new data analytics and methods.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and briefings for AATC leadership, and various ANG and AFRC associated departments and organizations.
  • Facilitate Program Review meetings and develop briefing materials.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5-12 years of related work experience
  • Active Secret Clearance

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
