Under the direction of the Controls Manager, provides technical expertise regarding all controls for plant systems including HVAC, air handling units, terminal units, fan coil units and miscellaneous auxiliary systems.

Role Overview:

Operate, maintain, and repair all control systems such as electric, digital and/or pneumatic HVAC controls related to the operation of control valves and dampers as they relate to medical and research spaces.
• Reads, interprets and records all systems data. Corrects abnormal environmental and systems conditions.
• Inspect and test, directly and on-screen, air and water distribution system equipment as well as the panels, gauges, charts and meters which settle operating condition and performance of equipment.
• Adjusts and calibrates controls as needed.
• Respond to customer questions or requests demonstrating courteous and professional customer service.

Key Qualification:

• 5 years experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of DDC, electro-mechanical and electro-pneumatic controls is required.
• 2 years of relevant experience with HVAC technology.

Core Skills:

• Knowledge of computer software systems for building automation, such as Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Schneider and Siemens.
• Sufficient ability to handle assignments with minimal supervision.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am to 3pm. Must be flexible due to the needs of the department.

Pay Range: $46.52-$74.52
