What are team member vaccine requirements?

Overview

Assistant Accountant - Billing

Remote, with ability to work on-site if desired

Days, full-time (flexible start time)

Responsible for financial record keeping to support accounting operations. All Assistant Accountants will perform accounting support and project management functions. Billing and accounts receivable functions will be segregated between Assistant Accountants.


Responsibilities

Billing

  • Prepare and record monthly billings and invoices to external facilities received through electronic workflow or recurring amounts following month-end deadlines.
  • Assist with the management of customer database by requesting changes to existing customers or addition of new customers as needed.
  • Review and prepare invoices and statements for mailing.
  • Communicate with customers regarding invoice discrepancies.

Accounting Support

  • Prepare and document monthly general journal entries to reflect proper account balances at month end.
  • Maintains and expands knowledge of general ledger and all systems which interface with the general ledger.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by answering questions and providing supporting documentation.
  • Responsive to questions and inquiries demonstrating excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Experience:

  • General bookkeeping

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
