Requisition ID# 163314 Job Category: Business Operations / Strategy Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Engineering, Planning & Strategy Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Oakland Department Overview The Strategy Department is responsible for the on-going management, refreshment, and implementation of PG&E's 10-year enterprise transformation strategy known as the True North Strategy (TNS). Position Summary The Expert Strategy Analyst is a position within the True North Strategy Team and will provide critical insights into global political, social, economic, and technology developments that may affect PG&E's operating environment, investments, and strategy. This role involves monitoring the external environment, conducting thorough analyses of business implications, delivering clear and concise reports, and offering strategic advice to senior leadership. The Strategy Analyst will also build and maintain a strong network of contacts within relevant industry groups and institutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals. Additionally, the position includes managing bespoke projects to meet the specific intelligence needs of senior leadership. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location (Oakland, CA) based on business need. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
