Snowflake is experiencing exponential growth, and we are expanding our Strategic Data Cloud Product Team. As a Partner Development Manager, you will play a lead role in managing strategic Public Sector partners and acquiring new partners that expand and enhance Snowflake's ecosystem of Application, Data and Solution Providers.

One of the unique benefits of Snowflake's architecture is the ability to securely share data, applications and solutions with other Snowflake accounts without creating a copy of the data. The Snowflake Data Cloud builds on our Secure Data Sharing functionality to be the 'App Store for Data' enabling Providers and Consumers to publish/discover and monetize data, applications and solutions. Providers to the Snowflake Marketplace use Data Sharing as the means to deliver their data or service, replacing traditional delivery methods such as files and APIs. Data Sharing and the Marketplace play a key strategic role in our Data Cloud vision and drive the network effect of the Data Cloud!

Our Data Cloud Products Team is seeking a Business Development professional with specific experience in Public Sector, strategic sales, partner development and go-to-market (GTM) strategies to help build Snowflake's AI Data Cloud for Public Sector. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic team that is shaping a vital product for Snowflake's future. You will engage with customers and partners to help drive growth within Snowflake's Public Sector business.

We are looking for an individual who understands the data and applications partner ecosystem and how to foster, manage and scale partnerships. You will not only be tasked with recruiting customers/partners but owning the customer lifecycle from build through the creation of Go-to-Market strategies for these customers.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL GET TO:
  • Create and execute strategic plans focused on acquiring new Public Sector product partners to build out a rich ecosystem of solutions for the Snowflake AI Public Sector Data Cloud

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of high-performing partners

  • Engage with current customers and to drive adoption of Public Sector products

  • Report on all partner business activity and work cross-functionally with Sales, Industry GTM, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to ensure alignment

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a direct selling or channel sales role in the US Public Sector vertical in a hunter role.

  • Experience with Public Sector partner ecosystems, agile partners, Global System Integrators (GSIs), System Integrators (SIs), Managed Service Providers (MSPs), or Independent Software Vendors (ISVs).

  • Experience managing sales opportunities in a dynamic and highly matrixed environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to multiple audiences including leadership and C-suite teams.

  • Proven self-starter with a high degree of initiative, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and bring in and provide resources and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.

  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred)

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $128,000 - $178,500.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
