Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Agile Methodologies Scrum and Pega business process management. This role requires a strong background in the Payer domain with additional experience in the Provider domain being a plus. The work model is hybrid with no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery using Agile methodologies to ensure timely and successful completion.
• Oversee project planning scheduling and resource allocation to meet project objectives and deliverables.
• Provide guidance and support to the project team in implementing Scrum practices and principles.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables that align with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress and performance identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination among project team members stakeholders and clients.
• Utilize Pega business process management tools to streamline and optimize project workflows.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress and milestones.
• Facilitate the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in project management and Agile methodologies.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including project plans status reports and risk management plans.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Demonstrate expertise in Pega business process management and PEGA.
• Have extensive experience in the Payer domain with additional experience in the Provider domain being a plus.
• Exhibit excellent project management skills including planning scheduling and resource allocation.
• Show proficiency in risk management and issue resolution.
• Display strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Have the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
• Be capable of leading and mentoring project teams.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and best practices in project management.
• Possess strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Show the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and clients.
• Have a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Exhibit a proactive and results-oriented approach to project management.

Certifications Required

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) PEGA Certified Business Architect (PCBA)

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
