Responsibilities Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking a passionate and experienced associate with 4-6 years of complex litigation and product liability experience to join our innovative Litigation Business Unit, in any Orrick office location. This role involves handling complex disputes across a diverse range of industries. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and creative, possessing exceptional interpersonal and writing skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Our team is engaged with a dynamic pipeline of exciting and fast-paced cases, and our clients expect us to be ready to litigate these matters, which include complex commercial, intellectual property, energy (both renewable and traditional), and mass tort lawsuits. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, dynamic, and creative individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong team-oriented mindset. They must possess strong academic credentials, along with excellent legal research abilities and superb writing and oral communication skills. Experience in product liability is essential. This position provides the opportunity to take on significant responsibilities, work directly with clients, manage complex cases, conduct and defend depositions, make court appearances at key hearings, handle mediations, and engage in other tasks typically managed by associates. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $310,000 and $390,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
