Collaborating closely with customers and internal teams, you will provide real-time problem-solving to customer challenges and to enhance our products. • Actively participate in global platform field escalations, emphasizing in Lam platforms on Deposition and Clean products.
• Acquire and apply engineering theories and problem-solving skills in defining problem, investigation, troubleshooting, analyzing results,and providing recommendations to resolution of technical problems.
• Conduct and design well defined experiments and tests pertaining to the development of new methods, hardware, standards, modification of current material, components, software, or resolution of complex technical problems.
• Generate clear and concise reports to justify the technical recommendations.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, assuring proper release and hand-off of solutions to field support organizations.
• Make clear data-based recommendations on next steps and articulate plan including findings, data collected,and progress to Lam's customers and internal partners on a regular basis.
• Act as liaison for cross functional projects across organization.
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering with 8+ years of related experience; or Master's degree with 6+ years' experience; or PhD with 3+ years' experience; or equivalent experience.
• Creative thinking, strong problem solving, and hardware and software troubleshooting capabilities.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to navigate dynamic environments.
• Ability to learn independently and drive project completion.
• Previous experience in individual project management.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, as well asstrong presentation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

• Advanced degree in engineering preferred.
• Prior product design, automation, and robotics experience is beneficial.
• Experience designing, specifying, building, operating, and maintaining semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, or related hardware, tools, and equipment.
• Experience coordinating and communicating with cross-functional teams.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
