Job Overview:
Dollar Bank is looking for a Private Banking Portfolio Assistant. Your principal focus will be to assist the Private Banking Relationship Managers manage their customer relationships (onboarding new clients, maintenance, assisting with customer issues, process monetary transactions, etc.). You will also support Private Banking clients in all three divisions with occasional support to other asset groups as needed. You will be expected to float between our two offices located in downtown Pittsburgh. Successful candidates in this role typically possess well organized and self-motivating traits and ability to manage multiple tasks assigned and meet specified deadlines. Qualifications: *High school diploma/GED required. College degree a plus. *Six months of customer service experience required; cash handling/banking experience preferred. *Must convey a professional demeanor and successfully engage with all department levels. *Must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. *Excellent verbal and written communications skills. *Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Principle Duties/Responsibilities: *Assist Relationship Managers with product service recommendations for personal and business customers, both new and existing. (i.e., checking and savings accounts, online banking services, credit cards etc.) *Provide general customer support for Private Banking Relationship Managers, such as research inquiries regarding overdrafts, transfers, service charges, online banking support and account performance. *Handle customer service issues regarding products and services and escalate to branch management and/or the assigned Relationship Manager when necessary. *Maintain a working knowledge of all personal and business products and services, including any updates. *Complete supporting documentation and data input on accounts to ensure that the regulatory and compliance guidelines are followed. *Provide general customer support to our consumer online system and mobile application. *Maintain effective communication with Private Banking departments, other Asset Divisions, Operations (Wire/Treasury Management Operations/Account Sales & Service/Legal) and Branch Support Groups. *Perform routine daily teller and customer service transactions (deposits, transfers, loan payments, new account openings, data entry for consumer loans, etc.). *Perform administrative functions such as typing, composing letters, answering phones, filing, compiling data for reporting purposes and maintaining certain Private Banking Center records and logs. *All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing, and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by Dollar Bank's risk management program. Compliance with regulatory laws and company procedures is a required component of all position descriptions. |
