Senior Planner

Sr. Planner role will oversee Material Planning for Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) Parts. This role will carefully evaluate supply and demand for essential components and drive corrective actions based on supply gaps against weekly EGM demand. He / She will collaborate with various supply chain, quality and operations teams to ensure component level plan is accurate in the system and supply gaps are being mitigated on a weekly basis to sustain production. This role will also manage planning parameters for EGM components to drive optimal inventory and minimize excess and Obsolescence.

Essential Job Functions:

• Oversee timely maintenance of MRP for EGM components, ensure the component demand plan in system is in alignment with the overall supply plan for products the components go into.
• Establish routine and process to carefully review supply and demand for essential components driving production shortages.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Order Management, Sourcing, Operations, Quality and Supply Planning teams to mitigate supply gaps and optimize in-bound shipment costs for essential components.
• Maintain accurate Planning Bill of Materials to reflect usage history, custom & jurisdictional components
• Ensure planning processes are in line with business needs for EGMs including NPI planning, Ramp-down planning for end of sale products maintaining high customer service level and low inventory.
• Support services and conversion planning tasks in ERP systems.
• Maintain sufficient planning parameters for EGM Components for optimal inventory
• Drive shortage root cause determination and corrective action implementation for EGM components

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in data management or related field.

MBA preferred.

Required Experience

• 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Data Management, Supply Chain management or Global Procurement
• Experience with ERP systems, Bill of Materials, knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus
• Team management is a plus but not required
• Experience with SOX Controls is a plus but not required.
• This role is a Hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 days working remotely

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Excellent communication skills, ability to drive consensus in a group
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, spreadsheets (advance skills preferred).
• Able to collate data, identify anomalies and to capture trends.
• Knowledge of SQL,VBA,ODBC, Data Mining preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP.
• High energy and a desire to work in a results-oriented, fast growth fast changing environment
• Intellectual curiosity, passion for problem-solving and comfort with ambiguity
• Good interpersonal skills, critical thinking, good communication and ability to present
