This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. Forklift Driver - Full Time Seeking a motivated Forklift Driver to join our team. Responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks, receiving, storing, and distributing material and products to all departments. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
Completes daily forklift checklist at the beginning of each shift. Operates stand-up forklifts to sort and store perishable goods in designated areas. Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, picklists, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Records amounts of materials or items received and/or distributed on count sheets and picklists. Labels materials with barcodes containing identifying information on inbound receipts. Weighs, counts items for distribution, and performs weekly cycle counts of assigned areas. Maintains inventory records through proper scanning, labeling and storage of product. Reports any damage to forklifts, equipment, or product to supervisor and submits maintenance requests as needed. Cross trains in all duties and responsibilities of all nonexempt Warehouse positions.
Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted. Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required. 3+ months of experience operating Crown stand-up forklifts, required. High School Diploma/GED, preferred. - Must be able to read basic/standard English words and sentences to understand signs, policies, procedures, safety rules.
- Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences in English to obtain and relay information on policies and procedures.
- Must be able to speak and understand basic/standard words and sentences to establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with others a collaboration as a team.
SKILLS:
Previous experience in a warehouse environment, food storage experience helpful. Experience operating stand-up forklifts and with bar coding and data collection. Ability to navigate narrow aisles in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Excellent organizational, communication, and multi-tasking skills. Ability to do basic math and use calculators and computers. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $21.18. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
