SUMMARY: Provide systems, real property, and inventory expertise to the DAWSON Real Property (RP) team supporting DLA Installation Management in the DLA Enterprise Business System (EBS), an SAP-based product. This position will require excellent written and verbal communication skills, data analysis experience, and the ability to learn and understand the RP acquire-to-retire process and the RP Project System lifecycle. This position will prepare training and procedural documentation, conduct on-site and virtual training, prepare and review high-level summary reports and presentations for leadership, run and analyze reports, provide assistance and guidance to EBS users, support a Real Property Help Desk, write and review remedy tickets, research evidentiary material (EM), conduct system testing, and provide general system and real property support. This position will also assist with on-site equipment and material surveys. Reports to Huntsville Al with travel requirements.

Salary - 60,000 to 75,000

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provide qualified support in the DLA EBS for Real Property Project System, Flexible Real Estate, and Plant Maintenance/Material Management modules.
  • Prepare, review, and edit Job Aids, SOPs, and other relevant material to disseminate to EBS users.
  • Support on-site and virtual training events. Activities include participating in the creation and editing of training material, setting up data for training demos, conducting training or providing technical back-up support during training, assisting with researching specific training examples, recording questions and answers during training, tracking attendance, and preparing and analyzing post-survey materials such as surveys and certificates.
  • Research and understand DLA's and DoD's policies, procedures, business processes, and regulations as they relate to RP and SRM.
  • Enter, analyze, coordinate, resolve, and escalate EBS Help Desk tickets.
  • Assist during system testing events. Review testing criteria, develop and follow a test script, create necessary test data, and conduct end-to-end process testing. Record, summarize, and report test results. Perform demos of adverse test results, as needed.
  • Research and gather EM to support project closure.
  • Work closely with DLA Installation Management, J6, J7, J8, and Project Managers, Project Engineers, Finance Analysts, and Business Analysts across DLA's Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) to provide assistance with ULOs, negative payables, AUCs, and project closure.
  • Draft memorandums for record as needed for project closure.
  • Attend meetings as requested.
  • Provide on- and off-site equipment and material inventory support.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • 4-year degree from an accredited institution (or comparable experience) and 4+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to meet project schedules.
  • Able to take overall direction and work independently when necessary.
  • Ability to work with and analyze large sets of data.
  • Ability to quickly learn and retain processes and technical concepts.
  • Self-motivated and quality focused.
  • Experience in accounting, real property, customer support, training, or systems analysis a plus.
  • Experience with SAP a plus.
  • US. Citizenship.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Clearable (although a clearance is not necessary).
  • Computer skills required:
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
