An an Inventory Control Manager, you will lead the cycle count team to drive inventory accuracy by managing daily cycle count and inventory reconciliation. You will also work to improve the end-to-end inventory management processes, including transactional accountability for receiving, put away, picking, and auditing, inventory counts, and discrepancy investigations. You will also conduct quarterly inventory audits to ensure the accuracy and quality of inventory.

Primary Duties:

  • Maintain accurate inventory by performing daily cycle counts on products in the warehouse.

  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of cycle counting, and report findings to operations management.

  • Conduct transactional investigations to determine root cause of inventory inaccuracies.

  • Facilitate formal problem solving, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions for all inventory discrepancies or related process failures.

  • Monitor daily reporting of inventory adjustments and identify any products that have not been reviewed prior to adjustment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manage direct reporting personnel and redefine the team, as needed.

  • Help leadership team in DC identify, train, coach, and mentor high caliber talent within the facility.

  • Responsibilities may include assisting with hiring, interviewing, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  • Outline roles and responsibilities, drive effective and efficient onboarding, and provide coaching and mentoring on an ongoing basis.

  • Periodically evaluate the performance of each employee and offer goals and objectives on an annual basis.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

  • 2+ years of experience working in an inventory control capacity.

  • 2+ years of experience in a people leadership role.

  • Ability to analyze and recognize ledger patterns.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping. Occasional sitting, talking, and hearing. Frequent use of hands/fingers.

  • Ability to and comfort with working at heights of up to 28 ft. using powered equipment.

  • Frequent lifting and carrying of 1-20 lbs.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 lbs.

  • Occasional lifting and carrying of 51-100 lbs. with the assistance of a buddy-lift or a mechanical device.

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
