Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Contract Manager in Lynchburg, VA (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Contract Management Team in the Instrumentation & Control Business Unit. Under broad supervision, this position is responsible for administering and controlling customer contracts for materials and services. You will ensure that all contracts are proposed, negotiated, and executed according to documented Company procedures and standards. You must be familiar with a variety of the required guidelines necessary to perform the functions of the job, rely on extensive latitude and judgement, and may lead the work of others. Your work will include:


  • Support commercial offer development including review of appropriate terms and conditions, review of existing frame agreements and development of commercial clarifications and supplemental terms to support business initiatives.
  • Communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure commercial proposals are developed and contracted within the corporate guidelines and business objectives.
  • Responsible for review/approval of customer purchase orders including pricing, terms and conditions, scope of work, schedule, payment, etc.
  • Initiate and coordinate workflow reviews through Engineering, Quality Assurance and Project Management, and Legal and Contracts, as necessary.
  • Monitor and manage the on-time completion of multiple customer orders.
  • Coordinate with Business Managers and other personnel to resolve customer issues.
  • Support active projects (for those assigned) to provide contract interpretation and best practices.
  • Participate in the execution and improvement of commercial review processes evaluating overall business risk, past project performance, financial projections and other considerations.
  • Provide complete, documented contract turnover package to the project/contract management team.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Broad nuclear industry knowledge of design, operations, services, fuel, procurement and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced Knowledge of Framatome company policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract negotiations, development of scope of supply, and terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrated experience in cultivating and managing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with all levels of staff & management.

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $75,000 - $97,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
