Responsibilities Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP is seeking a Career Associate with 7+ years of experience to join our Litigation Business Unit, in any Orrick office location. In addition to participating on trial teams, the candidate will manage the trial calendar and assist with staffing associates within the group. Responsibilities include preparing client communications and crafting tailored thought leadership materials on industry developments, such as business development pitches, newsletters, and client presentations. The candidate will oversee long-term projects, ensuring they are managed effectively and align with the team's strategic goals. They will work closely with practice lawyers to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness, facilitating a smooth transition and integration for new lawyers joining the group. The candidate will coordinate with the practice manager, practice group leaders, and supervising partners to identify staffing needs and collaborate with the innovation team to assign the right resources to the right tasks, thereby maximizing impact on client matters. Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $234,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
