Title: Specialist II, Enrollment Services (Temporary Part-Time) Department: Enrollment Services Campus: Hardin Valley Campus Closing Date: Open Until Filled Type of Appointment: Temporary Part-Time Pay Rate: $18.60 per hour *If you are a PSCC Student and eligible for the Student Employment Program, you will be paid on experience and the rates are $14.00 (no experience), $15.00 (6 months experience) and $16.00 (9 months experience)*. Work Hours: 30 hours per week Position Summary: . The overall purpose of this job is to assist Specialist II, Enrollment Services with the coordination and administration of Entrance Testing, Michigan, and Exit Testing at all Pellissippi State campus locations. Work with other departments when entrance testing and exit questions arise. 80% Assist with the oversight and administration of entrance and exit testing processes at four campus locations. Check student readiness in Banner, enter scores into Banner and confirm accuracy, research errors and determine causes and solutions, report number of students tested each month. Ensure students who require testing accommodations are scheduled accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate Michigan Tests and grade test for non-native English-speaking students. Assist with the room schedules and staff to cover tests. 15% Work with Dual Enrollment Specialist in processing high school transcripts, immunization forms, ACT scores, and answering DE questions. Assist with verifying grants through the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation database. 5% Other duties as assigned in Enrollment Services Note: The College reserves the right to change or reassign job duties, or combine positions at any time. Required Qualifications: On-the-job training would be typical for this job. The best way to learn would be by watching and actually doing the tasks required. An Associate Degree is required for this job. The employee must have excellent computer skills and have knowledge of the requirements for students who need testing. The employee should have knowledge of a community college setting, including entrance and exit testing procedures. The employee must have excellent written communication skills because he/she will be composing communication plans to prospective student and graduating populations.
