Description
The Department of Medicine is seeking a motivated Staff Research Associate to join our team focused on understanding immune responses in autoimmune diseases and cancer. This role involves both basic science and clinical translational research, with an emphasis on computational techniques. Responsibilities include constructing and analyzing genomic datasets from human and animal specimens, performing computational analysis using tools such as Seurat, CellChat, Cell2Location, Slingshot, and STARTRAC, and coding in R. The ideal candidate will be self-directed in acquiring new computational skills, engaged in data interpretation and presentation, and willing to assist with laboratory organization and data maintenance. Proficiency in computational analysis and R programming is required, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research setting.
