This position is responsible for leading and executing the post offer process and all pre-employment steps leading up to the employees first day on the job. This will include, but is not limited to, facilitating all applicable background and pre-hire checks, inputting and managing all databases internally and externally, adjudicating and determining appropriate courses of action for final results while guiding and communicating real time updates to all necessary parties. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also develop job descriptions, job postings (internal/external), be responsible for candidate and requisition management within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), in addition to sourcing prospective candidates on external job boards, screening and interviewing applicants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The duties listed below are essential functions of the position that must be performed to effectively perform the position in at least an acceptable manner as defined by Front Porch. In the future, other duties may be assigned and may also be considered essential functions of the position.

* Manages the post offer process by facilitating all applicable background and pre-hire checks ensuring that all necessary portals and tracking mechanisms are updated real time, keeping all parties informed, and determine appropriate course of actions based on company hiring criteria.

* Initiates and tracks progress of Pre-Hire Background Checks; verifying former employment and education .

* Provides guidance and support to new recruits during the onboarding process.

* Creates a welcoming candidate experience by identifying and anticipating candidate's needs; following issues to closure; collaborating with the Human Resources Team and hiring team to maximize the overall experience.

* Supports with the Implementation of long-term strategies and processes focusing on recruiting and optimizing the overall talent acquisition function.

* Manages information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) including but not limited to updating approved job postings, applicant status and retrieval, submission of recruiting reports, and adhere to the organizations compliance protocols.

* Research and seek opportunities to enhance and streamline processes to improve the overall hiring experience by staying informed of industry trends, market conditions, competitor activities and feedback from new recruits.

* Participates in job fairs and other activities to attract qualified candidates.

* Prepares, and updates as needed, various reports, including turnover, open requisitions, etc. and identifies concerns based on the data collected

* Source candidates utilizing social media, resume databases, Boolean searches, industry contacts, professional networks, etc. as needed.

* Performs all other related duties as assigned.
