Flag Center, an established flag and flagpole dealer specializing in both business to business sales and retail sales to the general public, is seeking an individual with sales or customer service experience to grow with us. The ideal candidate for this permanent 30-40 hour/week position will be an energetic and enthusiastic customer-focused salesperson willing to learn the ins and outs of all things flag and flagpole! In this position, you will be responsible for responding to our customer’s needs both in person and on the phone. We will train you to be able to recommend different flag materials, flagpoles, accessories and the mechanics of how flagpoles work. We have two locations – Wauwatosa & Oak Creek and you would rotate between each location. Responsibilities include: Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction. Work with customers to determine their needs and then recommend the right product and / or repair to solve the customer's problem. Develop and cultivate strong buying relationships with customers. Computerized point of sale and sales order entry. Inventory management including stocking and maintaining accurate inventory. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Two or more years of solid sales and/or customer service experience. General understanding of the principles of sales. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to think quickly and make good decisions consistent with company policy. Solid computer skills including MS Office and familiarity with SAGE or similar accounting/order management software (preferred) Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift.
