Summary:

Support the needs of production as it relates to chemistry and chemical controllers.

Pay Rate: 19.50 DOE

Shift Differential: $1.25 /hr

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and instructions in English.
  • Ability to retrieve samples.
  • Perform analysis or titrations on samples.
  • Make additions, dilutions, or adjustments to controllers based on results.
  • Dump and remake chemicals in chemical tanks.
  • Perform chemical maintenance on chemical tanks.
  • Calibrate laboratory equipment and process chemical controllers.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory analysis, laboratory equipment, process chemical controller, and process chemical related issues.
  • Perform maintenance on process chemical controllers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Comply with federal, state, local, and Tyco Electronics environmental health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate all important and pertinent information to the subsequent shift.
  • This position is considered a heavy-duty position, meaning that the individual employee may be regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of TrueChem, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel software.
  • Employees are required to certify to several TTM-Logan processes (listed at the end of this document) within 90 days after their hire or transfer date.
  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that my be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
