We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented BI Developer I to join our dynamic Business Intelligence team. As a BI Developer I, you will be critical in transforming data into meaningful insights using Power BI, DAX, and SQL. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about data visualization and eager to grow their career in a collaborative and innovative environment. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: * Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Utilize DAX to create complex measures and calculations. * Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends and anomalies. * SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business users to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure user adoption of BI solutions. * Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest BI and data analytics trends, and proactively improve existing processes. YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE: * Experience creating and interpreting dashboards and reports and implementing standard visualization techniques using Power BI * Understands basic DAX and M concepts, able to write simple formulas and queries in Power BI. * Can write simple and complex SQL queries independently or with some assistance. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills in identifying and addressing straightforward data issues. * Communication Skills: Capable of effectively communicating technical information to peers and supervisors in a clear and understandable manner. * Collaboration Skills: Works effectively within a team, contributing to group projects and discussions related to BI development tasks. * Agile Methodologies: Familiar with basic Agile principles and values, participates in Agile ceremonies with guidance. * Basic understanding of data integration processes (ETL) and tools. * Familiar with basic database operations (SQL or noSQL) and simple query execution. * 1+ years of experience in a BI developer role or similar, with strong use of Power BI * Bachelor's degree IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE: * Additional certifications or courses in BI, data analytics, or related technologies Relias is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free workplace IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT: Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities.
