Job Description

Experience

i360 has an immediate need for an Oracle Federal Financials Functional Consultant with intermediate hands-on training experience.

On-Site Location: The worksite location is in Gaithersburg, MD and/or Suitland, MD up to five days a week.

Experience with Oracle Federal Financials R12 and at least two functional process areas such as:

  • (B2R) Budget to Report
  • (A2R) Acquire to Retire
  • (O2F) Order to Fulfill
  • (P2P) Procure to Pay
  • Projects

  • Experience and knowledge using, implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Federal Financials, including subledger accounting.
  • Strong Knowledge of Federal Accounting.
  • Abilityto support training development and delivery for end users in an Oracle Federal Financials environment.
  • Experience developing training materials, plans, and content (e.g., user manuals, job aids, etc.).
  • Experience delivering end user training in a variety of formats (e.g., classroom, on-line, etc.).
  • Experience presenting to and supporting users during Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), system demonstrations, and other client facing knowledge transfer scenarios.
  • Experience supporting UAT and other testing efforts.
  • Experience providing post-production support to address issues, questions.
  • Experience resolving post-production issues in a variety of ways (e.g., configuration updates, system fixes, process updates, correcting user errors, etc.)
  • Experience supporting users as a result of help desk tickets and other user requests for assistance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of Oracle Federal Financials as the team prepares for system deployment to production.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team on deployment activities, including UAT support and end-user training.
  • Help build, develop, and execute training and organizational change initiatives to enable a successful transition to production.
  • Utilize your Oracle Federal Financial experience and knowledge to design and develop clear, comprehensive, and easy to use training materials for end users.
  • Utilize your Oracle experience and knowledge and your interpersonal and communication skills to deliver effective training in a variety of formats, both pre-and post-go-live.
  • Conduct courses in an engaging manner and ensure that the course is designed to allow active participation in a virtual and/or in-person setting.
  • Provide hands-on end-user support post-go-live.
  • Support the resolution of post-production issues using system, process, and knowledge transfer remedies.
  • The successful resource for this opening must be competent in public speaking and large-group meetings or training facilitation. The resource must also show proficiency in written communication skills and relationship building with client counterparts and the customer base.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, including oral and written presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to clear a federal background investigation - Applicants will undergo a government security check and must meet eligibility requirements for classified information access.
  • Experience with R12.2 Oracle Federal Financials.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and effectively in challenging situations.
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Training and eLearning experience in Oracle Federal Financials.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills.
  • U.S. or Permanent Resident; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday.
