Description

Plans, assigns, and manages the work of program teams providing services to a special student population; manages and modifies curriculum; oversees student eligibility and program intake processes; provides support for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and presentation; provides consultative and coaching support to staff as needed; ensures that the assigned program uses current best practices and that staff is properly trained.

Qualifications

Required

• Master's degree.
• Five (5) years of experience in teaching, school counseling, supervision, or administration in a related specialty.
  • Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
• Postgraduate educational license with endorsement(s) designated as appropriate to the assignment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, practices, procedures, and programs of the special education specialty.
• .Knowledge of related laws, regulations, and policies.
• Ability to plan, manage, and supervise programs and personnel.
• Ability to effectively lead teams in multiple projects.
• Ability to plan and conduct professional development activities.
• Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and while presenting.

• Endorsement in administration and supervision PreK-12.

Salary Range

$91,628 - $155,921
