*Description & Responsibilities:*
* *Setup and Maintenance:* Prepare, stage, set up, and perform startups and shutdowns of equipment such as racks, hard drives, and switches. * *Quality Checks:* Ensure proper grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling according to safety protocols and deployment standards. * *Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:* Identify and resolve issues, replacing faulty components as needed. * *Decommissioning:* Handle hardware decommissioning for simple changes and refreshes, including memory upgrades and OS rebuilds. * *Communication:* Report and escalate incidents to appropriate leads. * *Physical Tasks:* Assist in moving and racking equipment, maintaining facilities, and performing physical audits. Requirements: * *Education:* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. * *Experience:* At least 1 year of experience supporting IT equipment or related technology. * *Skills:* Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * *Flexibility:* Ability to work non-standard business hours, including weekends and holidays. * *PPE:* Use of specific personal protective equipment, such as level 5 cut/abrasion/impact-resistant gloves and hard-toe work boots. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
