Function, Team, and Role: As an intern you will be part of Equinix's Global Sustainability Program Office (SPO) team. The SPO team is responsible for developing the global sustainability strategy, implementing and advocating for initiatives, processes and systems; reporting progress; and engaging stakeholders. The SPO is responsible for engaging with external stakeholders to share our progress, respond to inquiries, and solicit input that helps to strengthen our Future First sustainability strategy. The role of the intern will be focused on supporting the SPO team in advancing Equinix's sustainability reporting efforts. This will involve conducting industry research, analyzing regulatory developments, and assessing the alignment between voluntary and mandatory reporting frameworks. Through this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in corporate sustainability reporting, benchmarking practices, and regulatory analysis. Assignment and Responsibility: In addition to providing general support to the SPO, you will have the opportunity to engage in a project aimed at strengthening Equinix's sustainability reporting.
