The Group You'll Be A Part Of

The Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The Impact You'll Make

As a Program or Project Manager in CSBG, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs to enhance the quality of CSBG Products and Services.

In this role, you will directly contribute to improving our customers experience and reducing CSBG overall cost of poor quality.

What You'll Do

Lead Quality improvement Initiatives across CSBG:

  • Spearhead quality improvement projects for CSBG, focusing on enhancing processes and establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accountability.
  • Analyze Data for Insights: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and actionable insights, driving continuous quality enhancements
  • Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain, and other functions to identify, recommend, and implement systemic corrective actions within CSBG and other functions to prevent recurrence of quality issues

Address Quality Nonconformances and execute to committed improvement objectives:

  • Lead efforts to respond to customer concerns regarding quality issues, coordinating resources and activities to resolve nonconformances
  • Develop and implement effective quality KPIs to facilitate continuous improvement and measure success

Represent CSBG in company wide quality initiatives:

  • Monitor adherence to company-wide quality policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices
  • Act as the voice of CSBG in multi-functional meetings, ensuring quality standards are upheld and communicated effectively.
  • Champion Quality Culture: Act as an agent of change, promoting Lam's quality culture and driving initiatives that enhance organizational quality standards
Who We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years working experience in Quality disciplines/management/operations
  • Bachelor's degree inMechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineering or equivalent required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, influence, manage and drive results within a complex organizational environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and meet programs objectives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable advanced expertise in use of structured problem-solving methodologies (PDCA,DMAIC, 8D) and quality tools
  • Able to perform data analysis to visually represent and resolve problems
  • Excellent planning and time management skills; must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously; flexibility is critical
  • MS Office suite (especially Excel), email, Windows, SAP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus
  • Experience with Design for Reliability, Design for Manufacturability, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis is a plus
  • Customer service/customer facing experience is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $132,000.00 -$276,000.00.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
