Senior ServiceNow Project Manager The Senior ServiceNow Project Manager will be a key leader in driving high-impact ServiceNow projects to successful completion in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This role requires a proactive, adaptable problem-solver who thrives under tight deadlines, manages multiple complex projects simultaneously, and fosters collaboration across technical and business teams. This role reports to the ServiceNow Project Management Lead, a key position in ensuring seamless program execution and operational excellence. We are looking for a team-oriented Project Manager who understands structured project management methodologies while also being agile enough to navigate shifting priorities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating technical requirements into business-driven outcomes, identifying risks before they become issues, and creating efficient processes that enable scalability. The candidate should be familiar with and have experience managing ServiceNow engagement and have an understanding of the ServiceNow Now core methodology. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution
- Lead and own execution of multiple concurrent ServiceNow implementation projects, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
- Maintain a sense of urgency while balancing competing priorities in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
- Drive results-oriented problem-solving, proactively identifying project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks with clear mitigation strategies.
- Oversee Statements of Work (SOWs), financials, contract revisions, and compliance adherence to align with business objectives.
- Challenge inefficiencies by collaborating with peers to improve processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team scalability and efficiency.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Partner with the ServiceNow Project Management Lead to ensure consistency in execution, reporting, and strategic decision-making.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and executive leadership, effectively translating complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, aligned, and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
Operational & Process Optimization
- Lead teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving sprint planning, execution, and retrospective improvements.
- Implement best practices in resource management, ensuring the right people are working on the right priorities at the right time.
- Maintain and refine programmatic and technical documentation, ensuring transparency, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure that all legal and regulatory documents are filed correctly and that compliance with laws and regulations is maintained.
Team Leadership & Culture Building
- Set clear performance goals and drive accountability within project teams to ensure milestones are met.
- Establish and enforce a structured cadence of communication, including weekly status meetings, project updates, and executive reporting.
- Encourage an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture, where team members feel empowered and supported.
- Develop and implement feedback mechanisms (e.g., retrospectives, 1-on-1s, pulse surveys, and lessons learned) to continuously improve team dynamics and project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (or passing the certification exam within 6 months of hire ).
- Agile/Scrum Master Certification (or passing the certification exam within 6 months of hire).
- 3-5 years of experience leading complex IT projects in high-growth or fast-paced environments.
- 1-3 years of ServiceNow project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering successful implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes projects with tight deadlines, multiple dependencies, aggressive timelines, and demanding clients.
- Strong financial management expertise, including budget tracking, forecasting, and SOW management.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Ability to build consensus and foster strong relationships among managers, partners, and customers.
- Experience working in a high-visibility role with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its applications.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams with diverse skill sets.
- Mentor junior project managers and team members as needed to support professional growth and operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow project management experience.
- 8+ years of project management experience in consulting, IT services, or enterprise technology environments.
- Background in change management and stakeholder engagement.
- Prior experience in an organization where fast decision-making and operational agility were essential to success.
