Provides leadership and direction for various imaging modalities, collaborating with physicians and medical staff to ensure the delivery of effective, high-quality imaging services. Develops goals and objectives to optimize staff utilization and operational efficiency, focusing on productivity targets and cost per unit to improve resource utilization and financial substantiality. Monitors and enhances employee and patient satisfaction, implementing action plans for improvement based on feedback to improve the overall quality of care and the success of the radiology department. Validates completion of departmental orientation, skills assessments, and staff development to ensure ongoing competency and professional growth to contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services. Defines and monitors measurable outcomes based on evidence-based practices, including safety initiatives, turnaround times, accreditations, and compliance with regulatory standards to adhere to quality and safety standards, providing a reliable and efficient radiology service. Safety Promise, Safety Zone Portal, TeleTracking, Turnaround Times, IAC Accreditation, and Joint Commission. Assists in the selection and supervision of personnel, including timely completion of HR and performance management processes to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce. Assists in budget development and monitors variances to ensure financial accountability and responsible resource allocation. Performs other duties as assigned. |

Required: ARRT (R) | Radiologic Technologist - Dx; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider; Credentialed in a relevant field of radiologic technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or other licensing body for imaging (MR, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Interventional) |
