Talent Acquisition Specialist We are seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist to provide full-cycle recruitment support for roles across all areas of the organization and it's education units. This is a shared services role that will support hiring for faculty and staff roles nationally and is expected to run 3 months. This is a remote position with core business hours of 8-5 EST Monday-Friday. Responsibilities: Candidate Management - 50%
- Develop recruiting action plans that align with business strategies to support hiring timelines.
- Screen candidates for availability, interest level, salary expectations, relocation needs, technical skills, and core competencies and presents them to appropriate hiring teams.
- Facilitate thorough interviewing process that maximizes efficiencies, establishes accountabilities and enables predictability and retention.
- Facilitate candidate pre-employment testing/evaluations.
- Negotiate offers; close or pre/post close candidates.
- Understand candidate's needs along with current industry and organizational compensation trends.
- Ensure that all candidates have a highly positive experience during the recruitment and selection process.
- Initiate and facilitate the onboarding process of new employees.
- Lead or support special staffing projects and initiatives.
- Ensure that the hiring process complies with all policies and procedures and with employment laws and regulations.
- Utilize an automated applicant tracking system (UKG) in compliance with staffing requirements to support the recruitment process.
- Input job postings, candidate information and relevant notes into recruitment database/ATS (UKG).
- Perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Internal Relationship Management - 25%
- Influence, guide and partner with internal managers both remote and in person to identify, attract, assess and hire the very best talent for the organization and it's education units.
- Consult with and understands hiring manager's technical/functional hiring needs and translates these into effective and efficient candidate generation strategies.
- Shape and drive the overall business strategy by identifying talent individuals for various positions across the organization.
- Provide appropriate training for hiring managers to guarantee thorough, legal and behavioral based interviews are conducted for all roles.
- Debrief with managers gathering timely and robust interview feedback.
Sourcing/Pipeline Management - 25%
- Directly research and source passive candidates through multiple channels including internet prospecting, networking, employee referrals, research, internet ads, database searches, etc. to fill open hiring needs.
- Create and implement new and unique candidate generation strategies for both passive and active candidates.
- Network and maintain relationships with key candidate communities for short and/or long-term opportunities.
Reporting Relationships: The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. Requirements:
- Three to five years full-cycle recruiting experience in a fast paced staffing agency or corporate setting, including identifying, screening, interviewing and closing candidates, higher education experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience implementing targeted sourcing initiatives and broad understanding of search technologies, search agents, and experience with a variety of advertising methods.
- Knowledge of Human Resources and Recruitment best practices and disciplines
- Proficiency with MS Office platforms including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and HRIS platforms, UltiPro experience a plus.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong oral, written and persuasive communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with high attention to detail, organization and time management skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective strategic thinking, search skills, problem solving, and cross group collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment while multi-tasking.
- Clear and professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment.
