Overview

  • Configure and manage financial settings within ConnectWise PSA and CPQ, including billing setups, tax rates, and general ledger mappings
  • Streamline invoicing and billing processes to enhance accuracy and reduce processing time
  • Develop and maintain workflows for tracking revenue, expenses, and profitability at a company level, a service level, and a customer level
  • Create, manage, analyze, and optimize financial reports, including revenue forecasts and profitability reports for services, clients, and projects
  • Deliver actionable insights to leadership based on data extracted from ConnectWise PSA, including detailed financial analysis of revenue, costs, and margin tracking
  • Manage and optimize quoting workflows within ConnectWise CPQ to ensure accurate product and services pricing
  • Ensure quotes align with operational goals, including profitability and margin targets
  • Collaborate with the IT, Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration between ConnectWise PSA and CPQ, and all other systems and tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as needed
  • Train team members on financial workflows and best practices within ConnectWise PSA and CPQ
  • Develop and maintain documentation on financial processes and configurations
  • Ensure financial processes comply with company policies and industry regulations and best practices
  • Support internal and external financial audits and JSOX compliance inquiries by providing required documentation

  • Ability to navigate and influence change across the enterprise up to and including the C-Suite
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with rigorous attention to detail
  • Proficiency as a change agent and change management advocate

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven expertise in ConnectWise PSA and CPQ with a strong focus on financial modules and processes, quoting workflows, and profitability analysis
  • 5+ years of financial modeling and analysis
  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in ERPs/Financial Software; SAP a plus
  • Experience with process optimization and financial reporting
  • Previous experience in an IT Services or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Familiarity with other tools and systems integrated with ConnectWise PSA
  • Certifications in ConnectWise PSA and CPQ or a similar platform is a plus
